CACI is seeking TS/SCI Poly-cleared candidates who speak Dari & Pashto (must have both). This is a prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA.

• Accurately translate report/texts in electronic and hard-copy formats that not only contain facts, but also some abstract language showing an ability to capture intended implications and many nuances.
• Ability to capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in text.
• Interpretation – able to interpret accurately. The ability of consecutive interpretation is needed, but on rare occasions simultaneous interpretation may be required. Needs to have a good understanding of one or more regional dialects.
• Transcription – review audio or internet materials, transcribe with high degree of accuracy and expression. Must possess excellent English-language written communication skills for preparing reports.
• Ability to identify and accurately summarize factual points as well as abstract concepts.
• Must possess computer skills: including MS Office, to be able to produce written translations and products and sufficient internet skills that will allow basic research on the web.
• Excellent English language skills and verbal communication skills to present briefings.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph.
• Ability to pass an advanced English test.
• Ability to score ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test.
• Ability to deploy – active passport – this is a hybrid role with up to 25% travel.
• Minimum five (5) years’ professional experience conducting translation, transcription, translation, and/or interpretation.
• In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areas.
• Master use of MS Office and internet research.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous military experience.
• Good understanding of one or more regional dialects.
• Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities.

$86,600 - $181,800
