• Accurately translate reports/texts in electronic and hard-copy formats that contain facts and abstract language, capturing intended implications and nuances.
• Capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in text.
• Provide accurate interpretation; consecutive interpretation required, with occasional simultaneous interpretation.
• Identify and summarize factual points and abstract concepts.
• Use computer skills, including MS Office, to produce written translations and basic web research.
• Exhibit excellent English verbal communication skills to present briefings.
• Transcribe audio or internet materials with high accuracy and expression; possess excellent English written communication skills for report preparation.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph.
• Pass an advanced English test.
• Score ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test.
• Must have an active passport and be able to deploy.
• Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in translation, transcription, and/or interpretation.
• In-depth knowledge of geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language areas.
• Mastery of MS Office and internet research.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous military experience.
• Good understanding of one or more regional dialects.
• Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities.
