CACI has opportunities for fully cleared Spanish and Portuguese language professionals to join our prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA.

• Utilize Spanish or Portuguese linguistic and analytical skills for mission-driven roles.
• Translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level printed materials, including but not limited to technical manuals, foreign language periodicals, and audio files into correct grammatical American English.
• Work as lead or part of a linguists team supporting CONUS and/or OCONUS operations.

• Provide both simultaneous and consecutive interpretation as well as transcribe and/or translate source material, both printed and audio.
• Provide analysis and reporting of translated foreign language source material and provide quality control of junior linguists.
• Prepare and update databases of translated source material, scan intercepted data and determine if pertinent or non-pertinent to mission requirements.

• US Citizen.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph.
• Advanced English test pass.
• ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test.
• Deploy-able with active passport up to 25% travel.
• Minimum five (5) years professional experience in translation, transcription, and/or interpretation.
• In-depth knowledge of geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areas.
• Master use of MS Office and internet research.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous military experience.
• Understanding of one or more regional dialects.
• Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities.

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, it is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

$86,600 - $181,800
