CACI is seeking TS/SCI Poly‑cleared candidates who speak Dari & Pashto (must have both). This is a prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA. This is a travel‑only role. You will be deployed for 4 to 8 weeks at a time and back for 4 to 8 weeks.

• Accurately translate reports/texts in electronic and hard‑copy formats that contain facts and abstract language, capturing intended implications and nuances.
• Capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in text.
• Interpret accurately, including consecutive interpretation; simultaneous interpretation may be required on rare occasions. Good understanding of one or more regional dialects needed.
• Transcribe audio or internet materials with high accuracy and proper expression. Must possess excellent English‑language written communication skills for preparing reports.
• Identify and summarize factual points as well as abstract concepts.
• Use computer skills, including MS Office and basic web research, to produce written translations and products.
• Present briefings with excellent English verbal communication skills.

• US Citizen.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph.
• Pass advanced English test.
• Score ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test.
• Active passport and willingness to deploy; this is a Travel‑Only role.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in translation, transcription, translation, and/or interpretation.
• In‑depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographic areas.
• Master use of MS Office and internet research.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous military experience.
• Good understanding of one or more regional dialects.
• Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities.
