This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Fairfax, VA, with remote‑work capabilities. The individual will handle a variety of responsibilities, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, advising clients, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in civil litigation and appellate matters. The role requires managing multiple cases, preparing for trials, and working closely with clients and senior attorneys to offer legal strategies and counsel.
CompensationSalary Range: $80,000.00 - $ per year with additional employee bonuses.
Qualifications- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in Virginia or Maryland; admission to practice in neighboring jurisdictions (e.g., West‑Virginia, D.C.) is a plus
- Knowledge and expertise in the law and a strong understanding of civil procedure
- Proficiency in providing detailed Legal Advice and guidance to clients
- Strong research skills for case law, statutes, and legal procedures
- Proven skills in Negotiation and reaching amicable settlements
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Proactive problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
- Prior experience in civil litigation or related legal fields is preferred, but not required
