Location:

NIS Headquarters Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor for a part-time position at our headquarters. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment for employees and visitors.

Hours:

5 pm to 9 pm Monday through Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Perform general cleaning throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, and restrooms
* Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors and carpets
* Dust, clean, and polish furniture, fixtures, blinds, and surfaces
* Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock paper products and supplies
* Clean mirrors, windows, doors, countertops, and tabletops
* Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash and recycling
* Disinfect frequently touched surfaces to maintain health and safety standards
* Maintain janitorial equipment and ensure storage areas remain clean and organized
* Monitor cleaning supply levels and notify management when replenishment is needed
* Identify and report unsafe conditions, needed repairs, or maintenance issues
* Follow established safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals
* Perform other related duties as assigned

* Attention to detail and a professional demeanor
* Ability to follow schedules, instructions, and safety/security procedures
* Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior janitorial or custodial experience Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Ability to successfully pass a background check
* US Citizen

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, and handle equipment to clean various areas, including high and low spaces.
