Janitor / Custodial Staff (Part-Time)

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor for a part-time position at our headquarters. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment for employees and visitors.

Location:

NIS Headquarters

Hours:

5 pm to 9 pm Monday through Friday.

• Perform general cleaning throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, and restrooms
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors and carpets
• Dust, clean, and polish furniture, fixtures, blinds, and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock paper products and supplies
• Clean mirrors, windows, doors, countertops, and tabletops
• Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash and recycling
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces to maintain health and safety standards
• Maintain janitorial equipment and ensure storage areas remain clean and organized
• Monitor cleaning supply levels and notify management when replenishment is needed
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, needed repairs, or maintenance issues
• Follow established safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to follow schedules, instructions, and safety/security procedures
• Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to successfully pass a background check
• US Citizen

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, and handle equipment to clean various areas, including high and low spaces.
