Transdev in Fairfax County is hiring a Field Supervisor. The Field Supervisor oversees day‑to‑day field operations and seeks customer‑service oriented professionals dedicated to safety.

Starting pay: $26.15 per hour (Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement).

• Vacation: applicable after 1 year of service
• Paid Sick Leave: 5 days effective July 1, 2026

• Manage operator scheduling and staffing of routes.
• Provide leadership to build and maintain a strong team through effective communication, appraisal, training, and coaching.
• Perform operator safety evaluation ride checks, investigate and respond to situations, and resolve operational issues.
• Read maps, interpret transit operating rules and policies.
• Other duties as required.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Preferred minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership experience.
• Ability to secure a Class B CDL with a P endorsement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
