Field Supervisor - Fairfax

Transdev in Fairfax County is hiring a Field Supervisor. The Field Supervisor oversees day-to-day field operations. We are seeking customer-service oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement. Pay: starting at $26.15 per hour.

• Vacation after 1 year of service
• Paid sick leave: 5 days effective July 1, 2026

• Manage operator scheduling and staffing of routes.
• Provide leadership to build and maintain a strong team through effective communication, appraisal, training, and coaching.
• Perform operator safety evaluation ride checks, investigate and resolve operational issues.
• Read maps and interpret transit operating rules and policies.
• Other duties as required.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Preferred minimum of 2 years relevant leadership experience.
• Ability to secure a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with a P endorsement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

• Must be able to work shifts or a flexible work schedule as needed.
• Employee will spend long periods sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment combines indoor and outdoor settings.
