Registered Nurse; RN PACU PRN

Overview

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced PACU RN for a PRN (as needed schedule) covering 0545 to 1815; on call shifts required. Located in western Fairfax County, IFOH's Pre-op has a 20-bay unit that runs from  daily and the PACU has 26 bays that run from  daily M-F, offering a comprehensive range of surgical specialties, including spine; joint replacement;

retina; breast; gynecology; general; and bariatric weight loss. We perform over 10,000 surgical cases annually using advanced technology such as Stryker Mako Robotic-Assisted Joint Procedures, Globus Excelsius Robotic Spine Navigation Platform, Orth Align Precision Navigation and Medtronic Stealth Station Navigation. The units are covered with on-call coverage  M-F, weekends and holidays.

• One year of PACU or CC nursing (ICU or ED) experience is required.
• Education:
  
  BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• 2 or more years of PACU experience to include Pre Op, phase 1 and 2 recovery experience.
