Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to CVOR surgical patients during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative stages.
- Assist surgeons by ensuring operating room readiness, proper instrumentation, and strict adherence to aseptic technique.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond rapidly to emergent situations with sound clinical judgment.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
- Valid RN license (unencumbered) and degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a CVOR setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and multi-task in fast-paced settings.
