Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN - ED

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital - ED is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. This role will be full time evening position, Monday – Friday, 10:45am - 11:15pm.

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  Vocational / Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• License:
  Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience:
  
  0 years of experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

• 1 year of experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant.
