We have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU RN to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Fairfax, Virginia.
- Schedule:
Every other Saturday, from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and 1 to 2 holidays per year

Responsibilities- Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and formulate patient care plans
- Perform initial preoperative assessment, develop a plan of care, and explain the subsequent phases of surgery
- Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and family members
- Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
- Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
- Active RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- 2–3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
- Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
