Inova Schar Clinic is seeking a dedicated RN Oncology Navigator to join the team in their Riverstone Clinic for Breast Surgery. This is a full‑time day shift position, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

• Promote the healthcare program to community resources, including developing materials and public presentations.
• Conduct comprehensive assessment of patient health and psycho‑social needs; develop a case management plan in collaboration with the patient and their support system.
• Coordinate a patient’s care plan and address questions about disease process, appointments, referrals, and discharge from hospital.
• Document pre‑testing, plans, consents, orders, and outcomes per policy; communicate verbally or in writing to team members.
• Organize and submit data to ensure regulatory compliance; use data to improve services and participate in development of outcome measures.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• License:
  Registered Nurse licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience:
  
  3 years of progressive nursing experience with primary‑care management of patient populations.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association; OCN within 2 years of employment.

• Previous oncology experience strongly preferred.
