Our Fairfax Hospital Women's PACU is seeking an experienced RN PACU for a PRN (as needed) position. Minimum hours required: 48 hours per six‑week schedule– will include weekends and night shift.

We care for approximately 30 patients a day on average, about 75% of which go home the same day from the PACU. Our acuity ranges from benign procedures to extensive oncology cases. The unit is a 32‑bay Preoperative and PACU department caring for patients before and after General Gynecology, Gynecological Oncology, Urological Gynecology, and Robotic procedures.

• One year of PACU or Critical Care (ICU/ED) RN experience or completion of a critical care or PACU fellowship
• Education:
  
  BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification for Healthcare Provider
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
• Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills

• 2 years' experience in PACU
