Inova Fairfax Hospital is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated RN Unit Supervisor to join our Medical Psychiatry Unit on the night shift. This is a full‑time position with a 3 x 12‑hour shift schedule (7:00 pm to 7:30 am). The RN Unit Supervisor serves as a front‑line leader accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to quality and best practices to improve the unit’s clinical operations. The supervisor embraces the research behind nursing practice and quality tools, supports unit‑based shared governance and decentralized decision‑making structures, leads by example in delivering “Service Always”, and prioritizes patient experience. • Certification – Basic Life Support;
  Completion of a revised Charge Nurse workshop within 3 months of hire.
• Licensure – Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience – 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or Associate’s Degree RN within 1 year of completing their BSN).

• 2–3 years previous inpatient psychiatric and medical experience preferred.
• Previous charge/leadership experience preferred.
