Position Overview:We are looking for a motivated and versatile Clinical Manager for a key leadership role in overseeing our home healthcare operations in Virginia and helping grow the census. In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Clinical Officer.
Daily Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of services provided to patients by clinicians and caregivers
- Supervise clinicians in the delivery of clinical services to patients and families
- Participate in the development of agency objectives, standards of care, policies and procedures
- Collaborate with peers for staff recruitment, selection, orientation, and in-service education
- Maintain quality of clinical services
- Participate in the on-call rotation program
- Provide skilled nursing treatments as ordered by the client’s doctor
- Complete evaluation tasks, including vital signs and medication reviews
- Coordinate with physicians, therapists and other individuals in the client’s care plan
- Assess and chart observations of the client’s condition at each visit
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of nursing care
- Provide education to clients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
- Perform all other nursing duties of a home health nurses as assigned
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Virginia and/or West Virginia Registered Nurse License
- Prior nursing experience, specifically in home health (preferred)
- Current CPR certification (required)
- Driver’s License, Car Insurance, and Car Registration
- Strong interpersonal skills that build personal rapport and establish trust with the client
- OASIS documentation experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Kinnser / Wellsky Home Health is a plus
- Computer proficiency, including MS Excel, Word, video conferencing, and email
