Spray Applicator

* + The Spray Applicator measures, mixes, and applies various pesticides and fertilizers to assigned areas.

* Duties and Responsibilities:

*
* + Operate spray equipment

+ Measure mixing agents to create necessary sprays for application

+ Apply various pesticides and fertilizers to maintain areas

*
* Education and Experience:

*
* +  
** Prior experience with chemical or spray applications is highly desired*
* + Must work under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent and Agronomic Technician

+ Maintain a valid Driver's License

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Operate efficiently and safely at all times

+ Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

+ Ability to perform other cultural applications on a golf course as needed - assist with aerifications, applying seed to designated areas, sand topdressing applications

** Physical Demands/Requirements:*
* + Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds

+ Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night

+ Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping

** Work Environment:*
* + Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic

+ Work near or about natural bodies of water

+ Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit

+ Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods
