Position SummaryThe retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a hybrid role for stores and serves as a pipeline for future career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. The SST assesses customer needs, recommends products/services, performs entry‑level vehicle services, and ensures customer satisfaction through thorough and timely completion of services. Successful individuals will learn all aspects of store operations and effectively flex between customer interaction and basic vehicle service tasks.
Pay Range: $18.40 – $27.49
Responsibilities- Customer service, sales, and issue resolution – 75%
- Basic vehicle service tasks (oil, tire, fluids) – 25%
- Store operations: opening/closing, inventory, displays as needed
- Assist Manager or act as Manager‑On‑Duty in certain circumstances to support development
- Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front/back shop tasks
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid automobile driver’s license
- Customer service and career growth mindset
- Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks
- Ability to learn and operate store systems
- 2‑year degree or non‑traditional education or certification demonstrating a growth mindset
- Previous consumer retail sales experience
- Previous automotive experience (plus)
- Previous management/supervisory experience (plus)
- Medical, dental and vision – starting day 1
