JOB OVERVIEW
The Field Installation Supervisor (IS) is a part‑time position responsible for supervising a group of 2-3 Installation Merchandiser Floaters within a specific geography. Installation Merchandisers help build Hallmark fixtures, move card departments, install new stores, relocate stores, and remodel card departments.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $19.00 to $21.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 15–20 hours per week
. - Full availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
- Availability to lead and/or support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventories.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and Manage Service
- Supervise a team of 2-3 Installation Merchandiser Floaters.
- Document and manage performance with manager feedback and input.
- Handle retailer concerns, retail execution issues, and merchandiser performance issues by working with store management, field merchandisers, and/or your manager.
- Lead Department Remodels and Resets
- Prepare, direct, and follow up on minor installations involving resetting product, building fixtures, and merchandising product.
- Lead or participate in major installations when business exceptions require additional support.
- Major installations may involve moving the card department, building fixtures, and merchandising product.
- Motivate both in‑person and remote teams, follow through on commitments, and lead by example in applying Hallmark's best practices.
- Excel at managing and leading others through change, delegating tasks when needed, and demonstrating strong problem‑solving skills.
- Be organized, manage time efficiently, handle administrative duties, and build and maintain strong customer relationships.
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor as well as in back stockrooms. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
You will also be required to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday, and you may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to read, understand, and communicate in English.
- Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- You have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the Internet.
- You have access to reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
- Flexibility to work a changing schedule that may include occasional evenings or weekends.
- Required to work the week before and the week after major holidays.
