Job Overview

The Sales Associate has the responsibility of assisting with the daily sales of The Beaufort Bonnet Company retail store and is expected to provide an exceptional customer experience that will drive sales and embrace brand positioning.

• Understand the overall concept of The Beaufort Bonnet Company, including lifestyle, customer, merchandise, etc.
• Create an exceptional in‑store experience consistent with company culture.
• Build and cultivate effective relationships with customers.
• Commit to delivering an optimistic, high‑energy, team‑oriented and sunny store atmosphere.
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge with customers; provide prompt recommendations and professional service to enhance their shopping experience (e.g., fit, fashion wardrobe advice and suggesting add‑ons).
• Actively participate in all store‑related meetings, working towards exceeding sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Maintain high standards of store appearance.
• Provide ideas to grow and improve the business.
• Maintain the integrity of inventory.

• High School diploma or GED.
• 0–1 year of retail experience.
• Ability to bend/stoop/kneel; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Routine standing for up to 8‑hour shift.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
