What you'll do...

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates touring stores, providing feedback, and introducing and leading company change efforts.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and resolving customer needs, complaints, and issues.
• Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation and operational processes.
• Supervise and develop hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments by building relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans, and setting goals for customer and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support company mission and values, and model the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
• Serve customers and members by delivering results while putting the customer first, applying EDLP and EDLC business models, and making decisions based on data insights.
• Strive for excellence by displaying curiosity, taking calculated risks, encouraging continuous improvement, and supporting others through change.

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Certain positions may require a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
• Positions that sell only ammunition and have state‑specific requirements may require a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
• All associates are required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

• Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) – based on location
