Responsibilities

  • Partner with the store manager to ensure the store meets financial targets and key metrics.
  • Monitor sales targets and other performance metrics, providing feedback and analysis.
  • Manage store staff schedules to maximize sales, traffic flow, floor coverage, and customer engagement.
  • Lead by example, modeling the company’s core values and creating a high‑performing team.
  • Handle conflict and maintain a positive team dynamic.
  • Supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Execute effective store communications, ensuring staff is involved and updated.
  • Maintain the company’s aesthetic across all touch points (associate presentation, dress code, visual standards, maintenance, merchandising).
  • Assist in recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training of store staff.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and maintenance standards are met at all times.
  • Adhere to operational policies, including accurate POS entry, bank deposits, opening/closing stores, merchandise receipts and transfers, and visual merchandising of the sales floor.
  • Execute cash handling and reporting functions.
  • Enforce people policies and process accurate employee paperwork (payroll, time/attendance, changes, discipline).
  • Protect company assets and enforce loss‑prevention policies.
  • Perform other duties as necessary to support the business.
Desired Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4+ years retail experience with at least 2 years supervisory/management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Basic retail mathematics skills.
  • Experience with POS systems.
  • Exposure to merchandising and visual concepts.
