Description
Chainbridge Solutions is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team. The Account Executive (also referred to as a Capture Manager and Business Development Lead) will be in the sales organization and have the ability to be embedded as a badged individual working closely with our Federal Civilian project delivery teams to establish and expand relationships with our existing and future FED CIV sector customers.
This individual needs to be located in the DC Metro area as work will primarily be performed at the customer sites or Chainbridge Solutions headquarters in Fairfax, VA.

- Customer Relationships:
Establish trusted relationships with customers to deliver mission value and achieve company growth. - Account Management:
Manage the Federal Civilian accounts in collaboration with our Project Managers and Operations leadership. Direct responsibility for establishing and managing the account growth strategy and identifying and leading the pursuit of new opportunities. - Capture Management:
Lead the capture of identified and developed opportunities within the Federal Civilian sectors. Work closely with business development leadership and proposal management to develop win themes, provide input and feedback into solution development, and participate in proposal reviews.
- US citizenship is required.
- Active Public Trust or Secret clearance is highly preferred but must be eligible to obtain.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a federal employee or Gov Con professional managing Federal Civilian programs, including procurement processes.
- Minimum 2 years of business development experience in the Federal Civilian sectors.
- Leadership skills and business acumen to strengthen Chainbridge Solutions’ brand and culture.
- Preparing, presenting, and executing new business and account growth plans.
- Leading and participating in account management activities associated with identification, qualification, capture, and bid activities, and transitioning awards to operations.
- Conducting analysis of opportunities and performing gap analysis between customer needs and current offerings to identify potential future capabilities.
- Ability to envision interfaces, interdependencies, and activities between multiple programs and captures at the line of business or portfolio level.
- Maintaining contact with customer leadership in acquisition, program requirements development, and mission organizations.
- Knowledge of buying patterns, preferred contract vehicles, price constraints, and other criteria relevant to the Federal Civilian sectors.
- Frequently remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods looking at a computer screen.
- Continuous verbal and written communication with others to exchange information.
- Continuous repetitive movements that may include wrists, hands, or fingers.
- Continuous understanding of direction and adherence to established procedures.
- Continuous ability to gather and classify information.
- Continuous use of reasoning and decision‑making logic to analyze and interpret information and prioritize.
