As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Associate in FAIRFAX, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support daily operations with strong communication and customer service, while bringing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour

Mon - Fri, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor and vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Communicate with site contacts, public responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters as needed.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
