Job Schedule:

Day  Time      Wed  07:30 AM - 08:00 PM    Thur  07:30 AM - 08:00 PM    Fri  07:30 AM - 05:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and clear communication while following armed post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention or reporting.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic locations, verifying access permissions and documenting security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity according to site procedures.
Support healthcare operations by assisting with emergency calls, de-escalation support, and coordination with staff and first responders during medical, behavioral, and/or security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
An armed guard card/license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
