As a  FT Security Officer Armed   in  Fairfax, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, remaining prepared to serve in an armed capacity in accordance with post orders and company policy.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, theft, and/or other security-related concerns common to a healthcare environment.
Support Allied Universal and site leadership by reporting hazards, unusual activity, and/or policy violations, and by assisting with de-escalation and customer care during routine and high-stress situations.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
