Journeyman Electrician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to support the installation of electrical systems for infrastructure in data centers throughout Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in electrical construction and a proven track record of excellence in commercial environments.
Responsibilities- Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit‑breaker panels.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
- Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to resolve them.
- Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Determine the method and sequence for installing electrical fixtures and equipment such as AC/DC motors, control panels, and PLCs.
- 6 plus years of electrical construction experience.
- 4 plus years of commercial experience.
- Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience.
- Valid Driver's license.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfax, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
