Sign Installer​/Construction Laborer- Fairfax, VA

Job Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Installer who is beginning their career in the sign and marketing installation industry. This role reports directly to a Senior Installation Technician and receives hands‑on training in installation fundamentals, safety practices, and company‑specific procedures supporting basic field installation projects while developing the skills needed for advancement within OnSight Industries.

The Installer will assist installation teams with a variety of projects, including but not limited to:

• Supporting street sign installation projects
• Assisting with basic marketing sign installations
• Learning and applying OnSight’s build and installation procedures
• Helping prepare job sites, tools, and materials for safe and efficient work
• Following all safety guidelines, including proper PPE use
• Capturing and submitting quality closeout photos as required
• Maintaining accountability for assigned tools and equipment
• Demonstrating teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following:

• 0–2 years of related experience, with completion of the OnSight pre-hire skills assessment
• Ability to work with required tools and equipment, such as:
  • Hand tools
  • Core drills
  • Generators
  • Other installation‑related tooling
• Ability to regularly lift and carry 50–75 pounds
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn
• Willingness to progress in the installation career path
• Works effectively under the supervision of a Senior Installation Technician
• Must become eligible to operate a company vehicle upon promotion
