The City of Fairfax is looking for a skilled construction and maintenance worker to perform various tasks in the maintenance and repair of city parks, trails, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have two years of experience and a Virginia Class D Driver’s License, as well as knowledge of carpentry and plumbing.
You will be responsible for operating motorized equipment, preparing for emergencies, and maintaining city trails. This position requires mandatory overtime for special events like the 4th of July and Fall Festival.
