Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
The Appian Software Developer will be responsible for developing applications on the Appian platform and familiarizing themselves with the software development lifecycle and the agile methodology.
The Appian Software Developer will:- Identify and define business processes
- Work with business to develop software requirements
- Design, develop, and build software applications
- Develop technical documentation
- Create and modify database tables, views, and stored procedures
- Integrate code with RESTful web services
- Work with teammates, supervisors and business to grow and maintain the best possible work culture and environment
Strong ethics and strong communication skills are a must-have and are essential to a successful career ability to understand the customer, translate their needs into code, and know when to recommend against a customer request are important skills and beneficial to the job.
At Zimpatica we strongly believe that in-person collaboration is essential to the job, especially during the first few months during our intense onboarding, training and project work period. Initially 4 days/week on-site is required. At the 6‑month mark or earlier, it is reduced to 2 days/week on-site required.
LocationWe are within short walking distance to the Mosaic District, which offers numerous dining, happy hour venues, and retail stores. We are right off Route 50, and a short driving distance to 495 and 66.
Due to the nature of the federal contract, US Citizenship is required.
This position is contingent upon contract award. Start date is expected to be June 1 or earlier.
Compensation is commensurate with experience within a range of $75,000 to $90,000.
