CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front End Developer with expertise in Angular to join our innovative team. As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend services, optimizing performance and security. This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; a hybrid working model is acceptable.

• Develop user-facing features using Angular (version 10+).
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and collaborate with the team for design strategies.
• Incorporate UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Write unit and integration tests with Jasmine, Karma, and/or Protractor.
• Integrate JavaScript components into Angular.
• Utilize HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Bootstrap, and Angular Material.
• Manage state with NGRX and implement complex enterprise applications.
• Participate in code reviews using Git; knowledge of Google Secure Source Manager is a plus.
• Create and update documentation for development efforts.
• Apply strong time management and organization; communicate effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front‑end trends and technologies.

• Expertise in Angular (preferably 10+), including CLI, modules, components, services, directives, pipes, and dependency injection.
• Proficiency in Angular RxJS for handling asynchronous data streams.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/Type Script.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt, and Node.js.
• Experience with responsive design and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Materialize, or Angular Material.
• Experience with state‑management libraries such as NgRx or Akita.
• Proficient in consuming RESTful APIs and integrating them with Angular via Http Client.
• Experience working with GCP, cloud‑native application development, Docker, and NGINX.
• Knowledge of unit and end‑to‑end testing with Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, TDD and BDD practices.
• Proficiency in Git, branching strategies, pull request workflows.
• Experience optimizing Angular applications for performance and scalability; familiarity with performance‑profiling tools.
• Understanding of common security practices; experience securing Angular applications against XSS and CSRF.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or GCP deployments; familiarity with Docker.
• Knowledge of other frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js) and backend technologies (Node.js, Express) is beneficial.

The current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00–$.
