Cleared Full-stack Software Engineer (15+ yrs, Development, Architecture, UI Design)

We are looking for talented Full-Stack Software Engineers with active TS/SCI (full-scope poly) to design and implement web-based solutions for our clients.

You will work closely with stakeholders and management to gather requirements, take the lead on technical challenges, and mentor junior team  this role, you should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, communicate effectively, stay organized, and provide detailed technical analysis.

What you will be doing:

• Providing significant “ground up” architectural guidance
• Designing completely new solutions, or modernizing existing applications
• Writing clean, professional code, and setting the standards for others
• Identifying appropriate technologies & stacks to use to meet clients needs
• Streamlining technical processes when necessary for automation / devops
• Providing guidance to other engineers on system architecture, UI/UX concerns, and other application design elements
• Providing expert technical opinions to customers and management
• Sharing technical knowledge and mentoring other engineers

What you will not be doing:

• Spending your days writing user documentation, or designing power points
• Simply installing and integrating COTS products
• Working with stagnant technologies
• Writing status reports or justifying career-goal metrics

Technical

Skills:

• 15+ years of demonstrated software engineering experience in a front-end, back-end or full-stack capacity
• Extensive knowledge of Java, Groovy, Kotlin, or other JVM languages
• Significant experience with database systems (SQL or No
  
  SQL)
• Extensive knowledge of OO design patterns and software architectural patterns
• Experience with microservice frameworks (Dropwizard, Spring Boot, Micronaut, Quarkus)
• Significant experience with web-based communication elements (REST, Queues/Topics, SOAP, Websockets)
• Significant experience with linux operating systems
• Significant experience with AWS services and cloud deployments

What you’ll need:

• Active US Government Security Clearance (TS/SCI with active poly)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

• BS/BA in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
