Job Description
Everforth ECS is seeking an Integration Engineer to work in a hybrid remote/onsite capacity, with a minimum of 3 business days onsite at our Fairfax, VA corporate office and/or our Ashburn, VA customer site. This position is contingent upon contract award. The Integration Engineer will support the execution of projects including AI/ML and Big Data/Cloud Solutions. The role requires strong technical skills in software development and enterprise application integration.
You will work with the technical team to develop, test, deploy, and maintain solutions in an Agile environment, with a fast-paced, multidisciplinary-team setting and tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions by conferring with stakeholders, studying information needs, and analyzing system flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Evaluate problem definitions and requirements to determine operational feasibility; assess third-party analysis and proposed solutions.
- Estimate and meet timelines, working independently and as part of a larger team.
- Brief stakeholders by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending process changes.
- Develop software application tests and testing strategies to improve product development and deployed operations.
- Develop scripting solutions to automate manual processes and support throughput demands.
- Proactively develop imaginative solutions to unique operational problems.
- Ability to work in person a minimum of 3 days per week at Everforth ECS headquarters or a customer site in Ashburn, VA.
Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field, or equivalent experience
- US Citizen; must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination
- 2–3+ years of experience designing, coding, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level systems
- Proficiency with multiple programming languages such as C++, Python, and Java Script
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to visualize processes and anticipate outcomes
- Experience with brownfield applications, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing new features
- Experience with Dev Sec Ops frameworks (e.g., Git Lab, Jira)
- Experience developing architecture/system diagrams and data flow diagrams
- Experience with containerization/orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Open Shift)
- Experience with Linux CLI and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Excellent communication/presentation skills to make recommendations to stakeholders with varying technical awareness
- Ability to quickly grasp and leverage new technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel (less than 15%) to CONUS locations
Desired Skills
- Active Secret Clearance
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- DoD Approved 8570, IAT Level I Certification (e.g., Security+)
- 3+ years of experience designing, coding, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level systems
- Experience with UI frameworks (e.g., React)
- Experience with automation engines (e.g., Ansible)
- Experience with big data tools (e.g., Airflow, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience in computer vision, computer graphics, and homography
- Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) data
- Experience in CUDA programming
- Experience with Machine Learning (ML) algorithms
- Experience working with DoD organizations or performers
