Junior Power Platform Developer
Dewberry is currently seeking a Junior Power Platform Developer for our Fairfax, VA or Tampa, FL office.
Dewberry’s Geospatial and Technology Services creates geospatial and analytical solutions for real-world engineering, environmental, and community problems. Our analysts perform a variety of data services for our clients including data management, governance, analysis, transformation, automation, and visualization.

- Work with senior developers to create internal and client-facing solutions within Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Pages, and Power Apps.
- Perform needs assessments to identify application and visualization requirements.
- Design data storage solutions in SharePoint lists, Microsoft Dataverse, and SQL.
- Develop user acceptance testing and documentation.
- Maintain and support applications according to changing business and mission requirements.
- Work on consulting projects for government and commercial clients.
- Participate in testing, support, and deployment of tools and prepare technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, GIS, or other relevant geospatial or data science related field with 0-3 years of professional experience.
- Desire to grow as a developer using Microsoft Power Platform products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, design development, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently using strong organizational skills and operate effectively in team settings using an agile software development approach.
- Understanding of GIS is beneficial but not required.
- Be a U.S. citizen capable of passing a federal background investigation to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Range
The projected range for this position is $62,000‑$80,000 annually in our Fairfax, VA office. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, and market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
