Bus Operator – Fairfax Connector
We are seeking experienced CDL Bus Operators with Passenger and Air Brakes endorsements to join our Fairfax County team. Your core responsibilities include transporting passengers safely and comfortably while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Benefits- $25.23 per hour during training
- $27.33 per hour after training
- Incentive bonus earning up to $1,500 annually

- Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules while adhering to stringent safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Exhibit exceptional care and assistance towards passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
- Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
- Uphold company policies and procedures rigorously, including seat belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Age 23 or older.
- Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and air‑brake endorsement.
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical examination, if applicable.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- The employee will spend long periods sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
- Work environment will be a combination of indoor and outdoor settings.
