Auto Mechanic/Auto Technician job at Mr. T's Automotive, Fairfield, AL. We are a fast‑paced independently owned auto repair shop with over 40 years in business, searching for mechanics / auto technicians. We will match or beat your current pay for the right qualifications. Below is an overview of the work performed on both foreign and domestic vehicles.
Job Details- Engine and transmission installations on foreign and domestic vehicles.
- Preventive maintenance inspections on medium‑duty commercial trucks.
- All line work from A‑Z, custom exhaust, alignment, tires and wheels, brakes, a/c, etc.
- Diagnosing skills not required, but are a plus.
- Position requires a minimum of 3 years experience and references.
- Must have own tool box and tools.
- Competitive pay based on experience and knowledge; paid vacation.
- Benefits include health, life, dental, and accident insurance.
- Air‑conditioned work area.
- Open Monday‑Friday 7:30‑5:30, closed weekends.
- Located one block from Interstate 20/59, sharing parking lot with Home Depot.
