Duration: 12+ Month contract, with potential for multi-year extension
We are looking for an experienced Process Control Engineer / Controls Engineer to support controls systems and process control projects in a heavy industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance industrial process control hardware and software solutions.
- Program and work with Siemens PLCs, HMI systems, and machine control logic
. - Support and improve SCADA systems, graphical HMI applications, and industrial LAN communications
. - Analyze hardware, software, equipment, and instrumentation requirements and recommend cost-effective technical solutions.
- Translate business and operational requirements into effective industrial control solutions.
- Work closely with operations, engineering, management, control system support, and other technical teams.
- Provide process control expertise in a 24x7 industrial environment
. - Initially, the role will be focused more heavily on controls projects and system improvements than day-to-day production support.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial controls/process control.
- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs
. - Experience with HMI systems and machine logic/control logic
. - Experience with SCADA and industrial process control systems
. - Experience working in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or plant environment
. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
This is a Controls/Process Control position
, not a .NET, HTML, or general software development role. Candidates should have hands-on experience working with industrial control systems, PLCs, HMI, and machine logic
