Staff Accountant

Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client to fill a Staff Accountant position at the corporate office located in Fairfield, CA. The work schedule is hybrid except for the week of the close.

• Heavily work in the general ledger
• Assist with month‑end close and month‑end adjustments
• Bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and other reconciliations
• Journal entries and accounts payable
• Audit preparation and assist with other projects as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant (or Accountant, Senior Accountant)
• Strong knowledge of debits and credits
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Experience with a large ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 is required;
  Dynamics 365 experience would be a plus
• Experience in logistics or distribution industry is nice to have
• Can work independently, reliable, meets deadlines
• Attention to detail, quick to learn, problem‑solver, strong written and verbal communication
