Position Summary:

The Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and preparing customer and dealership vehicles to the highest standards of appearance.

• This position ensures vehicles are thoroughly cleaned inside and out, helping deliver an exceptional customer experience and maintaining dealership presentation standards.
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities Wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, dashboards, and windows.
• Apply protective treatments to vehicle surfaces as needed.
• Remove stains, odors, and debris from vehicles.
• Clean engine compartments and wheel wells when required.
• Prepare new and used vehicles for delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detail department and work area.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and report findings to management.
• Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership property.
• Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper use and storage of detailing equipment and chemicals.
• Assist with lot presentation and vehicle inventory appearance as needed.
• Support service and sales departments with vehicle preparation requests.
• Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and vehicles.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of automotive cleaning products and detailing techniques.
