Position Summary

The Sales Analyst is responsible for Collecting and Organizing Sales Data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. This role will assist sales teams in providing Ad-Hoc sales reports, preparing Quarterly Business Reviews, presentations for potential customer meetings and pipeline management. The Sales Analyst will drive core sales and financial analysis for the business including performing key financial analytics, supporting the preparation of executive presentations, and drive ad-hoc business projects.

Responsibilities
  • Data gathering and cleaning – Collecting and Organizing Sales Data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Develop and build deep sales/business partner relationships. Assist sales teams in providing Ad-Hoc sales reports, preparing for Quarterly Business Reviews, and presentations for potential customer meetings
  • Assist sales teams in pipeline management
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis –
  • Develop Database of target customers within select geographies that Total Safety Serves (TX, CA, LA)
  • Create customer profile + identify contacts and assist business development and sales team in down selecting prospect customers
  • Conduct market research to determine competitor updates and market trends in product and service offerings
  • Process Improvement – Identifying areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the sales department
  • Streamlining sales processes, such as lead generation, opportunity management, and pipeline analysis.
  • Implementing tools or systems to facilitate sales data analysis and reporting
  • Manage the sales leads in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and actively track progress
  • Leverages financial analysis and business knowledge to identify financial issues and opportunities to optimize results and to drive/influence management decisions.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in a sales analyst capacity
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in data analysis techniques, ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word – SQL & Tableau experience is a plus
  • Business acumen:
    Understanding sales processes, market dynamics, and revenue generation strategies.
  • Familiarity with key sales performance metrics and indicators.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscapes.
  • Communication skills:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and data for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
  • Attention to detail:
    Strong attention ensures accurate data analysis and reporting. Ability to perform data quality checks and identify anomalies.
  • Teamwork and collaboration:
    Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams, managers, and cross-functional departments. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships. Willingness to share knowledge and support others.
  • Bachelors / associate’s degree in data analytics or business
  • 10-15% travel to customer meetings
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, walk, talk, hear and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.

Will be working in an office environment.
