With expertise in stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, Alzheimer’s and other dementias, brain tumors and neurotrauma, and other neurologic conditions, our specialists provide round‑the‑clock care for emergencies with support from advanced‑trained nursing and therapists at North Bay Medical Center and Vaca Valley Hospital.

Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM;
Dedicated procedure and administrative time. Call Ratio:
Shared. Daily Patient Census: 14‑16. Provider Support:
Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APs).
- Diagnosing complex medical problems by reviewing a patient’s history, examining them, and conducting neurological tests.
- Counseling patients on neurological disorders and their background.
- Ordering neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies.
- Prescribing and/or administering treatment and medication.
- Monitoring the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.
- Ordering supportive care services for patients.
- Participating in neuroscience research activities.
- Liaising with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
- Keeping up-to-date with neurological developments, treatments, and medication.
- Performing specialized treatments such as sleep disorders, neuroimmunology, neuro‑oncology, behavioral neurology, and neurogenetics.
- Performing and interpreting lumbar punctures, electroencephalography, electromyography, and nerve conduction velocity tests.
- MD or DO degree.
- Board‑certified in Neurology.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state.
- Proven experience in Neurology procedures.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Annual salary: $155,205.
- Income Guarantee: $404,831 (years 1‑2).
- Sign‑On Bonus up to $30,000.
- Relocation available for qualified candidates: up to $15,000.
- Quality incentive starting third year.
- Retention bonus starting second year: $30,000.
