Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An educational opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher skilled in instructing a wide range of grade levels, from Early Childhood through High School. This contract position is based in Fairfield, CA, and focuses on delivering specialized educational support within a school setting. The role requires a commitment to enhancing the learning experience of students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Adapt instructional materials and teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
- Monitor and assess student performance, adjusting strategies as necessary
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Special Education or equivalent credentials
- Experience teaching across multiple grade levels, including Early Childhood through 12th grade
- Strong background in math education and ability to integrate it across grade levels
- Familiarity with classroom and behavioral management techniques
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and staff
