Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Possession of a California Child Development Assistant Permit – OR – six (6) units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development AND Applicants must meet one (1) of the following para-educator qualifications:

• A minimum of an AA degree or higher
• Completion of a minimum of 48 semester units
• Certification of completion of ROP Para-educator Course (CODESP test)
• Pass CBEST
