Pay: $130-160K DOE
Ledgent Finance & Accounting is currently recruiting for a seasoned Controller to join a distribution / manufacturing company. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity ideal for a professional with a strong background in manufacturing finance and cost accounting. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with leadership to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Duties
- Oversee daily accounting functions and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Generate monthly financial
Continue reports including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, forecasts, and strategic insights. - Provide financial guidance and analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Develop and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures to support business growth.
- Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategy.
- Present financial data and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow activities, including receivables and payables.
- Administer payroll processing for salaried employees.
- Supervise and support the finance team, fostering professional development.
Candidate Profile
- Industry Experience
:
Must have a background in distribution or manufacturing - Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus. - Experience
: 10–20 years in a Controller role within a manufacturing setting. - Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Skilled in interpreting financial data and identifying trends.
- Proven leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficient in financial systems, including ERP platforms and Crystal Reports.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and financial regulations.
