About the roleWe are seeking a reliable and compassionate Male and Female Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centered support to our Male and Female NDIS clients in the Fairfield East/Bonnyrigg areas. We are seeking an experienced support worker who will build strong rapport and bring consistency. You’ll provide disability and social support; helping him live with dignity, independence, and joy.
Please note:
These preferences are based on the participant’s individual needs, in line with the comfort, support requirements and the participant’s right to Choice and Control under the NDIS.
Provide a high quality and timely care support to the client as directed by Home Caring, and in accordance with his care plan.
Safely transport the client using your own Vehicle (
own vehicle essential.)
Bilingual capability (Vietnamese) is highly regarded due to client demographics.
Support client in getting out for social engagement, activities and in attending appointments.
Provide personal care and daily living (domestic) assistance.
Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation.)
Document service activities that support service outcomes.
Support participant in achieving individual NDIS goals.
Maintain accurate documentation (including reporting) and shift notes.
RequirementsQualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field
Professional experience in the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors.
Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances.
Current First Aid certificate and current CPR certificate
Current Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
The right to work in Australia
Availability required: 2-5 days a week preferably (Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2:30pm-5:30pm)
