About The Role:
Our client is an individual in their mid 20’s who has a disability affecting their memory, endurance, and movement. Despite these challenges, they are fully mobile and maintain partial independence. We are seeking outgoing carers who are also looking at completing Inactive sleepover shifts. Enhance our client’s quality of life through various forms of companionship and social engagement is the key.
Shifts will be a mixture of Sleepovers with hours attached before and after.
The role will include a variety of social and clinical responsibilities such as:
- Companionship & Social Outings
- Meal Preparation and Assistance
- Domestic Assistance
- Rehabilitation and Exercise Encouragement
- Supervision, gentle redirection & prompting when needed
Your Skills and
Qualifications:
- First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
- Working with Children’s Check
- Cert 3 or 4 in Disability, Aged or Community (not required but highly desirable)
- Australian Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle
