• Part time 3 days a week (Mon, Tues, Weds)
• $100,000+ - (FT Equivalent) - depending on experience
• Flexible hours – start and finish times
• 1 day in the office after training – hybrid working
• This role will be looking after 4 payroll runs
• Free parking onsite – Homebush
• Reporting to HR
• Need to have a high level of excel skills

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and takes pride in delivering accurate results. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical payroll knowledge, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset that supports both operational accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a payroll position, ideally within a multi-entity or high-volume environment.
• Solid understanding of current payroll legislation, superannuation, taxation, and workers compensation requirements.
• Proven experience interpreting Awards and industrial instruments (Horticulture Award knowledge highly regarded).
• Experience using Access Definitiv or a comparable payroll/HRIS system is desirable.

Skills & Abilities

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, data validation, and reconciliations.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism.
