Manufacturing Manager
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead manufacturing operations, process improvement initiatives, equipment integration projects, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment. This position will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, reducing waste, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring safe, high-quality production processes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, and team development.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop manufacturing, technical, and process-focused teams to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, throughput, scrap reduction, yield improvement, and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Operations to optimize manufacturing performance and resolve production challenges.
- Oversee implementation of manufacturing processes, work instructions, control plans, SOPs, and best practices.
- Support manufacturing launches, process transfers, new product introductions, and production scale-up activities.
- Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and process improvement efforts to address operational and quality issues.
- Manage capital equipment projects, equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and manufacturing technology implementation.
- Monitor production performance, analyze operational data, and develop strategies to improve productivity and process reliability.
- Support internal audits, compliance initiatives, and operational excellence programs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timelines, budgets, and business goals are achieved.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Mentor employees and develop teams through training, coaching, and performance management.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading production, operations, continuous improvement, or manufacturing teams.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process optimization, quality systems, and production planning.
- Experience driving cost reduction, productivity improvement, waste reduction, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing performance metrics.
Skills & Qualifications
- Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering leadership experience.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training or certification.
- Experience with process control, PFMEA, RCA, SPC, OEE, and statistical analysis.
- Experience supporting capital projects, equipment installations, automation, and manufacturing technology upgrades.
- Background in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, composites, chemicals, plastics, or other process-driven production environments.
- Experience leading process engineers, technical teams, or manufacturing engineering functions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
