- We are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer who is passionate about solving problems, improving manufacturing processes, and helping deliver high-quality products to customers.
- This position is ideal for an engineer with approximately 1 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, industrial engineering, or a related field who wants to grow their technical skills while working closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams.
- You will be responsible for identifying quality issues, driving corrective actions, supporting production teams, and leading continuous improvement projects that improve customer satisfaction and manufacturing performance.
- Quality Improvement & Problem Solving
- Investigate product and process quality issues using structured problem-solving methods such as:
- 5 Why
- Root Cause Analysis
- Support containment, corrective actions, and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in customer and internal quality issue resolution activities.
- Manufacturing Support
- Work directly with production teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
- Support process audits and verify compliance with established procedures.
- Help maintain process control plans and quality documentation.
- Monitor process performance and escalte risks when needed.
- Support traceability systems and manufacturing quality controls.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
- Support process capability and process improvement activities.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to improve production performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Quality teams.
- Support new product introductions and process changes from a quality perspective.
- Provide quality-related training and guidance to production personnel when needed.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in:
- Manufacturing Quality
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Production Support Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively on the manufacturing floor and collaborate across teams.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using quality tools such as:
- Problem Solving 8D
- 5 Why
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or training.
- Hands-on manufacturing environment where your work directly impacts product quality and customer satisfaction.
